About Virtual Assistant Accounts
Virtual Assistant accounts offer limited access within TrueTracts Pro, giving assistants access to the Grid Cleanup tab. Assistants can help with data entry and grid cleanup, and—if the appraiser requests it—can also export the session to Spark (Import Comps With Spark button on Grid Cleanup tab), add subject and comps data, then import it back to TrueTracts for final cleanup.

Appraisers will need to share session links directly for assistants to access them, these will not be visible to the assistant on the Dashboard. Any grid updates made by the assistant are automatically saved and visible to the appraiser when they reopen the session.

If you created the wrong account type or need full TrueTracts access, you can manage your account in the Profile screen (located in the upper-right corner, also where Spark linking is set up).

Detailed setup steps for this account type are outlined below.

Basic TrueTracts Setup 

Sign up for a free TrueTracts account at https://truetracts.truefootage.tech/signup 

• Choose Virtual Assistant/Data Entry as the user persona
  (Will you use this tool as a(n)* drop down on screen 2)
• Verify your email if you choose the email/Password option

• You will see a popup asking you to Complete your Profile
  • If you don’t use Spark to assist the appraiser, you can skip this step by checking the Do not ask me again box

Once the appraiser sends you a session link, you can make edits to the appraiser’s grid in TrueTracts!

Creating your Assistant Account in TrueTracts

Optional/Advanced Setup options - Using Spark with a TrueTracts Assistant Account

Virtual Assistants who login to Spark with the Appraiser’s account

• In TrueTracts, click the Complete Profile button in the Pop-up 
  • or navigate to the user menu in the upper-right corner and choose Profile
• Under Spark Integration, click Link Existing Account
• In Spark, click the Gear icon in the top-right corner
• Click My Profile
• Click Manage approved users at the bottom of the screen
• Click Add User
  • Under the API Key box click Generate Key
  • Add the Virtual Assistant name in the Note box
  • Copy the API key
  • Click Done
• Paste the API key into the Link Spark Account box in TrueTracts

Linking Assistant TrueTracts account to Appraiser's Spark account

Virtual Assistants with their own Spark Accounts:

Note: The appraiser must link their own Spark account to their own TrueTracts account first

• In TrueTracts, click the Complete Profile button in the Pop-up 
  • or navigate to the user menu in the upper-right corner and choose Profile
• Under Spark Integration, click Link Existing Account
• In Spark, click the Gear icon in the top-right corner
• Select My Profile.
• Under Personal API Key, click Generate API Key 
• Click Copy API to Clipboard
• Paste the API key into the Link Spark Account box in TrueTracts
• Send your API key to your appraiser and ask them to
  • Sign in to Spark
  • Click the Gear icon in the top-right corner
  • Click My Profile
  • Click Manage approved users at the bottom of the screen
  • Click Add User
    • Paste the Virtual Assistant’s Spark API key in the first field
    • Add a note with your name or email in the Note field
    • Click the Done button
